v1.0·online
sovereign naming · live

Queensland,held for good.

A sovereign namespace a State owns permanently — held, not hired. Names that can't lapse, and no one can revoke. One project, two ways in.

02what permanent means

Not rented. Not revocable. Simply yours.

Held, not hired.

Owned outright, the way a State owns its land and its records — not leased from a global registry it doesn't control.

Can't lapse.

No renewal date, no missed payment that quietly hands the name back. Once it's yours, it stays yours.

No one revokes it.

No outside authority with the power to pull the name back. The rule keeps the promise, not a landlord's goodwill.

03why queensland
a contribution, not a claim

A State with the scale, the ambition and the independence to be early.

Digital sovereignty is going to matter to every place that wants to control its own economic and civic identity online. Queensland has the scale, the ambition and the independence to be early.

This is a contribution to that — an infrastructure Queensland could stand behind, shaped by someone who believes this State is exactly the right place to prove it. It comes from admiration for what Queensland is building, and a wish to add to it.

A name the State owns.
A name the public keeps.
